Ralph Lauren raises awareness for animal welfare

American luxury brand Ralph Lauren collaborates with The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) to raise awareness on animal welfare through The Dog Walk, a digital collaboration showcasing the brand’s Fall 2013 accessories collection

Ralph Lauren, the American luxury brand most known for its logo of a horse, apparently loves dogs a lot as well.

The American luxury brand has collaborated with The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) on its website to raise awareness for animal welfare.

In this very unique digital collaboration, the Ralph Lauren Fall 2013 accessories collection is showcased in an eye-catching and innovative video presentation starring rescue dogs from ASPCA.

Stylishly donned in Ralph Lauren accessories, a dog leisurely follows a chic city woman down the iconic streets of New York and Paris while passing signature Ralph Lauren boutiques like its flagship store on Avenue Saint-Germain. The cityscapes are decked in monochrome colours, while the Ralph Lauren luxury accessories are given the full burst of their radiant colours, letting them stand out against the darker backdrop. Pieces include the classic Ricky bag, dog carriers and charming pup sweaters.

To support ASPCA in its fight against animal cruelty and in conjunction with October’s Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog Month, Ralph Lauren will be donating ten percent of the sales of select merchandise featured in The Dog Walk. The featured bags and shoes can be purchased at select all Ralph Lauren stores and its website, http://www.ralphlauren.com/. The dog accessories, however, will only be available on its website.
